Beijing Jingneng clean energy power Co., Ltd., established in August 2010, is a holding subsidiary of Jingneng group, formerly known as Beijing energy investment company established in 1993. The company was listed on the main board of the stock exchange of Hong Kong on December 22, 2011. The total number of shares issued is 6149905454, of which Jingneng group holds 67.96% and is the controlling shareholder of the company.
We are the largest gas-fired thermal power supplier in Beijing and the leading wind power operator in China. It has a diversified portfolio of clean energy businesses, covering gas power generation and heating, wind power generation, small and medium hydropower, photovoltaic power generation and other clean energy businesses.
As of June 30, 2012, we have two gas-fired cogeneration power plants and one gas-fired heating plant in Beijing, holding 1190 MW of installed capacity and 1045 MW of installed heating capacity. As of June 30, 2012, wind power holdings has been put into operation with an installed capacity of 1253.75 MW. Our wind power plants are mainly located in the regions with the richest wind resources in China, strategically distributed in Inner Mongolia, Beijing and Ningxia, and we are the only wind power operator in Beijing.
In addition, we also operate other clean energy power generation businesses such as small and medium-sized hydropower and photovoltaic power generation. As of the first half of 2012, our holding installed capacity was 16.4 MW, of which small and medium-sized hydropower projects are mainly distributed in Southwest China, where water resources are abundant.
