China Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CNNP; Stock Code: 601985) is jointly funded by China Nuclear Industry Corporation as the controlling shareholder, China Three Gorges Corporation, China Ocean Shipping (Group) Corporation and aerospace Investment Holding Co., Ltd.

Cnpec's business scope covers the development, investment, construction, operation and management of nuclear power projects, nuclear power operation safety technology research and related technical services and consulting business.

As of May 2015, cnpec has 14 holding subsidiaries, 1 associated company and 1 joint-stock company; 12 in-service nuclear power units with an installed capacity of 9.773 million kilowatts; 9 under construction nuclear power units with an installed capacity of 9.292 million kilowatts, with total assets of more than 220 billion yuan and nearly 10000 employees.

China's first Qinshan nuclear power plant independently designed and built, known as the "glory of the country";

Qinshan No.2 nuclear power plant is the first large-scale commercial nuclear power plant designed, built, operated and managed independently in China;

Qinshan No.3 nuclear power plant is the first heavy water reactor nuclear power plant in China to achieve international standards in nuclear power engineering management;

Jiangsu Tianwan nuclear power plant is the most advanced nuclear power plant in service in China;

Zhejiang Sanmen Nuclear Power Project, the first third generation nuclear power plant in the world;

Fujian Fuqing nuclear power project, the first demonstration reactor of China's independent third-generation nuclear power "hualong-1";

In 2014, the average load factor of cnpec's operating units exceeded 90%, and each operating index was in the leading position in China. The WANO of two operating units ranked first in the world, and the six units ranked among the world's best. In 2014, the generating capacity of the unit was 52.77 billion kwh, the main revenue was 18.8 billion yuan, and the total profit was 6.16 billion yuan. The generating capacity, main business income and total profit of the unit have increased steadily for three consecutive years.
