Ganghua Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ganghua Gas Group) is a public utility enterprise operated by Hong Kong Zhonghua Gas Co., Ltd. (Zhonghua gas) in the mainland. Its business covers urban gas, urban water supply, retail of gas appliances, as well as extended services such as comprehensive gas insurance, home products and high-grade cabinets.

In 1994, China gas began to invest in gas projects in the mainland, and set up urban pipeline gas enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region of South China. Later, China Gas vigorously promoted the development of urban pipeline gas in the Yangtze River Delta region of East China in line with the national natural gas clean energy policy, and gradually expanded to central, southwest and Northeast China. In 2002, China Gas established Hong Kong China Investment Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen to manage investment projects in the mainland. So far, Ganghua gas has developed more than 132 urban gas enterprises in Nanjing, Wuhan, Xi'an, Jinan, Chengdu, Changchun and Shenzhen, covering 23 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in East China, central China, North China, Northeast China, Northwest China, Southwest China, and South China. The number of residential and industrial and commercial customers has increased from about 5000 to more than 23.4 million, and the gas sales volume has reached 17 billion With a total length of more than 92960km, it has become a relatively large-scale urban gas group in the mainland.

In order to further improve the safety of customers' gas use, Ganghua gas launched the gas appliance brand "Ganghua Bauhinia" in the mainland market in 2005. Due to its excellent quality and service, the sales volume of Bauhinia series gas appliances in Hong Kong and China has been increasing, and the total sales volume has exceeded 4.3 million so far. In the same year, China Gas opened the inland water market and invested in seven water projects in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces. So far, Huayan water services has served more than 1.2 million customers, with a daily water supply capacity of 2.5 million tons, a daily sewage treatment capacity of 400000 tons, and a daily reclaimed water reuse capacity of 40000 tons, providing high-quality domestic, industrial and commercial water for the booming economy of mainland cities.
