Zhejiang Hengyi Group Co., Ltd. is located in Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou on the South Bank of Qiantang River. It was formerly known as the knitting factory of Yaqian commune of Xiaoshan County founded in 1974. On October 18, 1994, it was formally established as a group company. Now it has developed into a modern large private enterprise specializing in the production of chemical fiber and chemical fiber raw materials. The group has more than 7000 employees.

The group's holding enterprises have an annual production capacity of 13.5 million tons of PTA, 2.6 million tons of pet, 350000 tons of DTY, 200000 tons of CPL and 165000 tons of PA6. The group is an enterprise in China that has mastered large capacity polyester melt direct spinning technology and 2 million ton PTA process and engineering technology. It has formed a competitive dual industry chain driven development mode of "polyester + nylon". Its PTA and pet products have an important "voice" in the global petrochemical industry.
