The history of bosgum can be traced back to the 19th century.
Bosco Findlay was founded in 2001. Due to the merger of two of France's largest oil and gas companies, daudafina and ERF Aquitaine, Bosco and atofindlay, its two adhesive companies, were also merged.
Bosch gum has a long and rich history. Founded in 1889 in Chelsea, Massachusetts, as Boston blacking Co., it began to deal in footwear and shoe adhesives. In 1929, it was taken over by USM (United Shoe machinery) and developed globally. Boston blacking has been focusing on the shoe industry until the 1950s when it began its global expansion and diversification strategy.
