Resizing titanium is conceivable in some rare and limited conditions, but it is never recommended, thus most jewelers just do not provide the procedure. That's why, when purchased from a trustworthy source, titanium and tungsten bands come with a lifetime warranty. This allows you to swap out the band for one that fits better when necessary.

These metals can't be resized since they can't be soldered once they've been cut, and that's before you consider how difficult it is to cut them in the first place!
