Titanium Isn't Always A Better Option Than Tungsten
Tungsten is the stronger and more scratch-resistant of the two metals. Tungsten carbide has a hardness of 8.5 to 9, while titanium has a hardness of 6. Tungsten can only be scratched by metals or materials of equal or greater rank, such as diamonds.
However, this does not always imply that tungsten is the superior material. It's quite brittle due to its hardness. That means it can shatter or break if dropped or subjected to enough force, therefore it's not indestructible.
Titanium, on the other hand, is malleable while being much harder than gold and platinum. Glass has a little more give to it and won't shatter if dropped, but it can distort under unusual circumstances. Titanium is a corrosion-resistant, tarnish-resistant, scratch-resistant, and break-resistant metal that is ideal for wedding rings and jewelry.
Consider these characteristics while selecting a wedding ring, and keep in mind that one material may be better suited to your demands than another. If you're prone to dropping things, for example, tungsten should be avoided.
