Non-rotating stabilizer is one of the downhole tools for oil drilling operations, which can reduce the torque.
The non-rotating stabilizer consists of a main body, a non-rotating sleeve, a retaining ring and a screw. The body is integral, and the contact surface of non rotating sleeve is hardened, corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant. It can reduce the mutual friction between the drill pipe and the casing during the drilling process, solve the problem of large torque loss, and can effectively prevent the casing and the drill pipe from wearing.
The rubber sleeve type non-rotating stabilizer is mainly used in the well section where the casing has been completed. It is used to stabilize the drill string to prevent knocking of tool joints and other parts and to prevent wear of the casing. At the same time, it also protects tool joints and downhole tools from bumping and abrasion, which is well received by the majority of oilfield users and is widely used.
Non-rotating stabilizer (rubber sleeve stabilizers) can avoid blade wear and wall damage. It consists of mandrel, copper pad machine, rubber cover, pad cover and self-locking lower part.
During drilling, the non-rotating stabilizer transmits torque through mandrel. The sliding and movement of the rubber sleeve relative to the sand root play a role in stabilizing the well. The lock-up clutch helps to avoid the sleeve relationship during suspension operation.
The mandrel and the sleeve of the non-rotating stabilizer can rotate freely and independently, while the milling grooves along the sleeve length provide sufficient paths for the fluid and cutting during the operation. The stabilizer sleeve is easily interchangeable to accommodate the work ID, while using the same mandrel for ease of use and reduced inventory.
